Faces of Europe exhibition in Rome
In Rome, an outdoor exhibition with light steles and video art projection will continue to light up Piazza San Silvestro until 14 December 2020. Fifteen light steles produced especially for the exhibition show pictures and interviews of Europeans from the 27 EU Member States. Carsten Sander has also produced a 14-minute video with morphing for the exhibition in Rome, in which the faces slowly merge into one another. The first four minutes of the video are dedicated to the recordings of Italians. Among others, an Italian cinema owner in Berlin-Kreuzberg, a paramedic in Milan and a Neapolitan restaurant owner who is active against the Camorra can be seen. The video will be projected onto a screen in Piazza San Silvestro every evening from 5 – 10 pm.
