FACES OF EUROPE is a cultural-political project of the photographer Carsten Sander. An extraordinary journey through all 27 EU member states with many exciting stories and encounters lies behind the photographic artist. Sander will present a first insight into his work 1,000 portrait photos of Europeans with the most diverse ethnic and social backgrounds to the public in Strasbourg around the historic city hall from September 15 to October 5.
An outstanding demonstration of European biographies and an expression of peaceful coexistence, tolerance and common values.
